Hinckley Museum, Lower Bond Street, Hinckley, Leicestershire, LE10 1QU - £25 per person - Over 18s only
The 2 Haunted team are very proud to announce another night of paranormal investigation in the very haunted Hinckley Museum. Time and time again we have been to this location with some outstanding results. This building rarely fails to impress from violent poltergeist activity including a large oak door being thrown at a guest. There is also Spirit communication from tapping, bangs, sighs, moans and voices through the ghost box and Ouija board. Visuals including shadowy figures in the laser grin, lights going on-and-off by themselves, strange glowing ’orbs’ and much, much more. So why not come and join us on a night that you will never forget…
Brief History of the Hinckley Museum:

Welcome to the Hinckley and District Museum, which is located in 17th century framework knitters cottages in historic Hinckley, the cradle and home of the hosiery trade, in the heart of England. The museum cottages themselves are the most complete example of half-timbered buildings remaining in Hinckley and date from the seventeenth century, being originally built as a farmhouse. They are of box-frame construction with a tie-beam roof, with brick infill panels of the late 1700s which replaced the original wattle and daub. By the nineteenth century there were three cottages, and these were bought by Colonel Clive Atkins in 1919 and restored and altered to their present appearance between 1927-8. The Hinckley and District Museum has been housed in the cottages since 1996. The craft of framework knitting once took place in the museum cottages. A reconstruction of a framework knitter`s cottage room setting can be viewed, and the frame on display is typical of the hand operated frames used in the domestic phase of the industry in Hinckley from the seventeenth to the nineteenth century.
2 Haunted Night:
The event will begin with the team introducing themselves, tea and coffee are provided free of charge and then we will take you on a safety walk around the location. It will help you to familiarise yourself with the layout of the building, plus we can make you aware of any potential hazards once the lights go out. We will also talk about its wonderful history and the experiments that we have set-up in each room for you to attempt later on if you so wish but this is not compulsory. Trust us when the lights do go out and its totally dark it does look very different and it can be easy to get lost and disorientated. Do not worry though as a member of our team will always be there with you to give a helping hand. Once we have finished the tour we will be having a short tea break and then start the investigation as soon as possible to get our teeth into communicating with the spirits that still linger within its walls. With our resident Physical Medium Marc Brindley and eight Paranormal Investigators leading the way we will try various techniques to communicate with spirit from traditional media like Mirror Scrying, Ouija, Direct Voice, Trance and Table Tipping to modern day equipment like locked-off Night Vision Cameras, EVPs, Ghost Box, EMFs, Motion Sensors and much, much more. We do have a few experiments that you will not find anywhere else but we prefer to keep that a surprise until we host the event on the night. We are a very friendly, genuine team that respect the world of spirit and we will try everything in our power to get communication and physical interaction but like any group we cannot guarantee paranormal activity but we will try our hardest to get that proof you are after. Please come and join us if you dare on an intensely scary, terrifying night in the old museum that you will never forget…
